Marie recently emailed me with a very important question. (I tell you, these new episodes just can't come fast enough....) Did I think that Goren touched Eames as they got into the elevator in Great Barrier?
Research was necessary!
Here is the clip twice. The second time, it's zoomed in and slow motion. What do you think?
I think it's funny how quickly he snatches his hand away - and the look she gives him......

ReplyDeleteI think he touched her to get her attention regarding the claustrophobic feeling he had when entering the elevator.
ReplyDeleteOh, yes he so totally touched Eames!! Vincent and Katie have this awesome chemistry. The very subtle touching enhances the scene, and you just know that if Bobby got on the elevator he would have a total panic attack!
ReplyDeleteHe didn't touch her exactly but he could see that not only was it a bit claustrophobic in there but it also didn't look very safe so he sort of went "whoa don't go into far in case you fall or something" so he sort of put his hand out but it didn't actually touch her.
ReplyDeleteHey! Now that I got to see it in slow motion, I'm almost a 100% sure he touched her, lol!!! Her sleeve moved...

The way he moved his hand away it's like he got burnt, lol!:)
ReplyDeleteThere's a scene in “Self made” from Season 7 where he actually touches her arm...It's a deliberate and lingering gesture....I found it a bit out of character, popping out in the middle of nowhere, more Vincent&Kathryn than Bobby&Alex....Maybe just the display of a quite confusing moment in their relationship....In spite of Warren Leight's statements about not giving a romantic direction to their partnership I think the idea occured to him more than once...
ReplyDeleteYeah, he touched her...mhm. Thanks for the slomotion.
